Privacy Policy

• Your account. Your name, email, phone number and password. Your password is stored only as a scrambled code. Nobody at EUC Dojo can read it.
• Your profile. Your username, picture, banner, the wheels you ride, wheel photos, your bio, and the colors and looks you pick for your profile.
• Things you post. Posts, photos, comments and likes in the community feed, and group rides you post, including the meeting spot, time, notes and photo.
• Messages. Direct messages you send to other riders, and messages in crew chats and group chats, stored so they can be delivered and shown in your chats. EUC Dojo staff do not read your messages unless one is reported to us, there is a safety concern, or the law requires it. Riders 13 to 17 whose parent or guardian allows it can message and be messaged by any rider. Other riders under 18 can only message riders under 18 they follow each other with, and their own parent or guardian, and they cannot use crew chats or group chats with adults. Every rider can block or report any rider at any time.
• Followers and crews. Who you follow, who follows you, follow requests, the crews you start or join, the crew name and logo, and who leads the crew. Your Settings also save whether you hide your follower and following lists.
• Titles, belts and Legends. The titles you earn and which ones you show, your belt, your Chi score, and your results on the Legends boards. We work these out from your rides, rentals, event check ins, shop orders and activity in the app.
• Belt test videos. Videos you send in for a belt test, with the result and any note from the staff member who watched it.
• Marketplace listings. What you put in a listing: the wheel details, price, photos, your name and the contact details you choose to share with buyers.
• Rides you join. When you mark yourself as going to a ride, we store a scrambled code instead of your email.
• Your location. If you allow it, the app uses your phone's location to show how far away rides are. That happens on your phone and we do not store it. We do save a rough, city level location with your account and with your posts. Our host, Cloudflare, works it out from your internet connection, and we round it to about 7 miles. We use it only for the Near you part of the feed, which shows posts from riders near you. Other riders never see it, and posts from riders under 18 without a parent's permission are never shown in Near you. The meeting spot you choose when you post a ride is stored and shown to other riders.
• Waivers. The details on the waiver form: your name, date of birth, contact details, your signature, and for riders under 18 the parent or guardian's name and signature. For riders 13 to 17, the waiver also records the parent or guardian's choice about whether the rider may use the app like an adult rider.
• Bookings and orders. Rentals, lessons, event signups and shop orders, with your contact details and shipping address. Card payments are handled by Square. We never see or store your full card number. For rentals, Square keeps your card on file so we can place the deposit hold.
• Notifications. If you turn them on, a code for your phone so we can send you ride, reply and booking alerts.
• Site visits. Our host, Cloudflare, logs IP addresses, browser type, pages and times as part of normal hosting and security.
• Crypto wallets. If you connect a wallet on the website or in the rider app, we read your public wallet address and your VLTG balance. In the app we keep the address linked to your account until you disconnect it or delete your account. When you are checked in at a ride, we also save the wallet address linked to your account at that moment with your ride record, and we keep a record of any $VLTG we send you, including its dollar value when it was sent. We use these to send rewards and prizes to the right wallet and for our tax and accounting records, and we keep them even after you disconnect the wallet or delete your account. We never ask for or store private keys or recovery phrases. Connecting a wallet in the app is for riders 18 and over.
• Voltage early adopters. Your name, contact details, wallet address and payment records from your Early Adopter Purchase Agreement.

Other riders. Signed in riders can see your profile, your posts and comments, and rides you post. They can also see the rides you say you are going to: your profile lists the ride name, the day and the town (never the meeting spot), and your username shows on that ride's going list. Other riders see your username, or your first name if you have no username, and never your full name. Your full name is shown only to you (for example on My Pass), to EUC Dojo staff, and to a Dojo Host when they check you in at an EUC Dojo ride or event. Signed in riders also see how many followers you have and how many riders you follow, who those riders are, up to three of your followers' pictures, your crew, the titles you show, and your belt once belts are open to everyone. In Settings you can hide your follower and following lists: other riders then still see the two numbers, but not who is on them or the pictures. Your Chi score is only shown to you, and to another rider when one of you taps VS on the other's profile. Your email and phone number are never shown to other riders.

Riders 13 to 17. A rider 13 to 17 has a public profile only when a parent or guardian allows it. With that permission, their profile, crew and the rides they are going to are shown like an adult rider's. Without it, their profile is private: only riders they approve and their parent or guardian can see it, their crew, followers and the rides they are going to are not shown to other riders, and when they say they are going to a group ride, the rider who posted it is told only that a rider is going.

Anyone on the website. If you win on the Legends boards, your username (or your first name if you have no username), picture, crew name and what you won are shown on the public Hall of Legends page at eucdojo.com, which anyone can see without signing in. Riders 13 to 17 appear there only when a parent or guardian allows it. Marketplace listings are also public on eucdojo.com, with the contact details you chose to share.

Belt test videos are only watched by EUC Dojo staff. We do not share them with other riders or post them anywhere without asking you first.

Companies that help us run EUC Dojo. Our hosting, storage and video storage provider (Cloudflare), our payment provider (Square), our email provider (Resend), our map provider (Mapbox), and the partner who makes and ships shop orders (Printify). Each one gets only what it needs to do its job.

The law. We share information if a law, court order or safety emergency requires it.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.

You can delete your account at any time in the app: open Settings and tap Delete my account. This straight away removes your account, profile, pictures, posts, comments, likes, messages, followers and following, your place in any crew, rides you posted, belt test videos and belt records, and notification settings. Past Legends results stop showing your name and picture.

Some records have to be kept even after you delete your account: signed waivers, rental and booking records, and orders and payment records. We keep these only as long as the law, our insurance and tax rules require.

We also keep a record of the rides you booked, posted or joined: the ride, when and where it was, and who was on it. Only EUC Dojo staff can see it. We keep it for the safety of other riders, so we can look into a problem that is reported after an account is gone.

You can report any post, comment, message or ride, and you can block any rider. This works for every rider, including riders under 18. A blocked rider's posts, comments and rides disappear for you, and they cannot message you or send you notifications. They are not told. Reports and blocks are sent to EUC Dojo, and we review them. We remove content and accounts that break our rules.

Blockchain transactions are public and permanent. Anything tied to a wallet address on the blockchain can be seen by anyone and cannot be erased by us or by you. This policy covers only the information we hold ourselves.

Cookies and storage. The app keeps you signed in by saving a code on your phone. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set technical cookies for performance and security.

Children and teens. The app is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child under 13 has signed up, email us and we will delete the account. Riders 13 to 17 need a parent or guardian to approve their account and sign their waiver. On the parent waiver, the parent or guardian chooses whether the rider may use the app like an adult rider: a public profile, a place on the public Hall of Legends, crews and group chats with adults, posting group rides, and messages with any rider. The parent or guardian can give or take back this permission at any time on the Family page in the app, or by emailing JamesTate@eucdojo.com. Without it, the rider has the under 18 setup described above. The Marketplace, $VLTG and crypto wallets are for riders 18 and over either way.

Your rights. You can see and correct your details in the app, and delete your account there. To ask for a copy of your information, or anything else, email JamesTate@eucdojo.com.

Security. Your information is stored with Cloudflare and sent over encrypted connections. No system is perfect, so tell us straight away if you think your account has been used by someone else.

Terms. Using EUC Dojo is also covered by our Terms of Service.

Changes. If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. For big changes, we will tell you in the app or by email.
